Door SUPERVISORS: building on Newcastle’s commitment to safer nights out
As door supervisors you’re often the first to see when something’s not right, and the first to intervene. Working at the heart of Newcastle’s vibrant night-time scene, the public rely on you to set the tone for safety and respect.
Shout-Up! training builds on that professionalism, offering practical tools to recognise, prevent, and respond to sexual harassment and spiking, while supporting a unified, city-wide approach to safety.
If you’re working at a Shout-Up! certified venue, this training makes sure Door Supervisors and venue staff are applying consistent procedures and responses to keep everyone safe.
After a successful pilot scheme, we’re now inviting Door Supervisors who are working in Newcastle-upon-Tyne to take part in our dedicated bystander-intervention training in January and February 2026.

T3 SECURITY SAID:
“We’re delighted to be able to take part in such an innovative initiative and hugely support the message behind Shout Up!
“Educating the security and hospitality staff that work in the night-time economy about how to spot the signs and trigger points of sexual harassment provides much-needed support in the ongoing fight to create a safer social experience.”
